Create memory cards
Pick the pictures and how they pair up, so there are pairs to find. The background becomes the back of every card. They're added as a new card type.

Two identical cards Every picture is added twice.
A picture and its name Every picture gets a card with its name to pair with, like a flower and the word "Tulip".

Create French cards
Add your photos to a deck of 52 cards and two jokers. The rank and suit stay in the corners; a card without a photo gets a big suit symbol. They're added as a new card type with a back.

Create trivia cards
Each card has the question on the front and the answer on the back. They're added as a new card type with backs.
Kind of card
Question and answer The question on the front, the answer on the back.
Question with answer options The question and the options A, B, C… on the front, the right answer on the back.
Questions
Separator (splits the text into several cards)
"\n" stands for a new line, so \n\n means a blank line between cards. Leave it empty to make just one card.

Useful tips (read before first print)
Page setup (all card types)
Page margin setting At least 10 mm is recommended.
Add cut guide lines out to the page edge Thin lines continue each card border out through the margin, so a ruler or paper cutter stays aligned for a straight cut across the whole sheet — including through the blank border strip.
Add a Print Your Card Game card (with a QR code) at the end One small card that points people to this site, printed after your last card. Uncheck it to print only your own cards.

Card backs
Don't print a double-sided batch before testing! It's easy to waste a whole deck's worth of paper on backs that land off-center.
Load the alignment test
then export or print it and check the back: the ruled cross should line up with the front's. If the back is mirrored, pick short-edge binding. If it's shifted to one side, set an offset in the settings.
Automatic double-sided printer, long-edge binding Most common — this is the default on nearly all printers. Print as one job with "print on both sides" turned on in your printer's dialog — backs go right after their matching fronts.
Automatic double-sided printer, short-edge binding Uncommon. Pick this if the test came out mirrored with long-edge binding. The back pictures are turned upside down automatically, so a card shows both faces upright when you turn it over sideways.
Single-sided printer, flipped like a book (long edge) Print every front first, flip the whole stack over along its long edge — like turning a book page — then feed it back in to print every back.
Single-sided printer, flipped like a notepad (short edge) Same as above, but flip the stack along its short edge instead — like flipping a notepad or a wall calendar. The back pictures are turned upside down automatically, so a card shows both faces upright when you turn it over sideways.
Fold and glue (front and back side by side) Prints each card's front next to its back, both printed normally (not mirrored), on the same sheet — no double-sided printing or alignment needed. Cut out each pair along its outer edge, then fold it along the dashed line so the two halves meet back to back, and glue them together for a sturdy, opaque card. Uses roughly twice the paper per card, and the 5 mm back gap doesn't apply.
